God and FACEBOOK

You have showed me another side of me.
Another side I never thought I could be.
I wanna change, rearrange.
I know I can be something.
I know (I know, I know) I'm getting better.

You can say what you believe.
Tell me I'm not worth it, maybe I'd agree.
Well i know that it's just stones.
No they wont break my bones.
You can say it all you want.
I love myself today, no matter what you say.
I love myself today, and it feels so good.

There are people who are obviously using their profiles on networking sites to create an image. They are trying to show that they are happening people.

Some are simply irritated by all the drama on the web, I  know people who tweet every 20-30 minutes, and you know exactly when the got up because their first tweet of the day is posted, and then you know what they had for breakfast. A friend mine once tweeted that his relationship with his girl was over, that was even when before she got out of his car.
Breaking up with someone is not a hush-hush thing anymore, and with social networking websites, it's a war of inflated and hurt egos. "A friend, after his break-up started dating a someone else, this got the ex fuming and she too made a new boyfriend. And obviously everyone in the friends circle knew it was as if they were competing to put pictures with their new partners on their profiles.

Well, the verdict is out, time to tone it down a bit guys? Lol…..

I see girls taking constant pics of themselves, making what is quite honestly stupid poses with usually their lips pouted out. Am I the only one who finds this strange and quite honestly retarded?

Many females especially teenage females want attention. So they take pictures of themselves as a way to feel better. But what many teens do is go a step beyond taking photos. They not only take photos of themselves, but they share the photos with other peers, and they post on the internet. Many teen girls do this because they lack self esteem and they are looking for someone to confirm that they are indeed beautiful. Now there is nothing wrong with taking photos of yourself. But the problem only arises when you do it to get attention because you feel badly about yourself and you want someone to affirm you.

The height of self obsession:
An Egyptians blogger Aliaa Magda Elmahdy has become a household name in the middle east. She shared a global uproar after a friend posted a photo of her naked on Twitter. She first posted her pictures on her blog.

Previously god was always on our minds, it used to be mirror of own reflection but today facebook has become the new god, the FACE, the BOOK where everyone wants each moment of its FACE.

HUNTING…. KILLING.. AND NO SHAME..

Tiger our national animal is fighting for its life. From around 40000 at the turn of the last century, there are just 1411 left now.

As very few tigers are left in India and if we won’t act now, we could lose important part of our heritage forever.
Tigers are facing major population losses and extinction. Tigers are killed for sport, skins and body parts.

At the turn of the century, there were almost reportedly 40000 to 45000 tigers in India, but now there very few left.

Tigers is the symbol of wilderness and well being of the eco system..

By saving tigers the entire wilderness ecosystem is conserved.

The tiger is not just a charismatic species. It’s not just a wild animal living in some forest either.
It is been unofficial stated that forest department is also involved in it. Not only that but also few well profiled people too. The Forest officials are wiping out all the evidence of poaching and taking bribe for the same.

                                        HUNTING…. KILLING.. AND NO SHAME..

There are lot of NGO and individual who have been saving them society, Not to mention the Bachchan’s itself who himself involved to protect the species, Richard Branson has taken many step ahead to protect to the species, not only the tigers but other species as well.

The tiger is a beautiful animal but it is also the indicator of the forest’s health.Saving the Tiger means we save the forest since tiger cannot live in places where trees have vanished and in turn secure food and water for all.

The Tiger this becomes the symbol for the protection of all species on our earth since it is at the top of the food chain. This is why we sometimes call the tiger, an apex predator, and an indicator of our ecosystem’s health.

Sach….in….Kambli …. out

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is an Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He is the leading run-scorer and century maker in Test and one-day international cricket. He is the only male player to score a double century in the history of ODI cricket.

Tendulkar was an integral part of the  Cricket World Cup winning Indian team at the later part of his career, his first such win in six World Cup appearances for India.

Tendulkar is the first and the only player in Test Cricket history to score fifty centuries, and the first to score fifty centuries in all international crickets combined; he now has 99 centuries (48 ODI & 51 Test cricket) in international cricket.

Tendulkar has been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan award, India's second highest civilian award, and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratnaaward, India's highest sporting honour. Tendulkar became the first sportsperson and the first person without an aviation background to be awarded the honorary rank of Group Captain by the Indian Air Force and many more achievement & awards.

Sachin Tendulkar on 8th Nov achieved another milestone as he became the first cricketer in the history of the game to cross 15,000-run mark in Test cricket.

Playing in his 182nd match, Tendulkar reached the mark on the third day of the first Test against the West Indies when he scored his 28th run in India's second innings with a single off leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo.

After crossing the coveted milestone, the batting maestro looked up at the heavens and acknowledged the standing ovation given by his teammates from the dressing room as his partner Rahul Dravid congratulated him.

The West Indian players also came up after the completion of the over to congratulate the iconic batsman.
Tendulkar was 35 runs short of 15,000 before this match and he scored seven in the first innings before being adjudged leg-before off Fidel Edwards.

With a 14,422 capacity crowd cheering him, Tendulkar, who came in at the fall of Virender Sehwag's wicket when the team total was 95 for two, played cautiously with India needing 276 runs to win the match.

He hit just two fours after facing 76 balls to reach 28. The 38-year-old Tendulkar, the world's most prolific batsman, now needs just one hundred to complete a historic 100 international tons. He has scored 51 Test tons and 48 ODI hundreds.

Rahul Dravid, who was batting at the other end with Tendulkar, is the second highest run-getter in Tests with 12,859 runs while Australian Ricky Ponting is third on the list with 12487 runs.

Let's Play With Our Star

Astrology;
Astrology is based on universal, timeless symbolism, and speaks to us on deep and meaningful levels, as artistic expression often does.

In our daily life experiences, each one of us can recognize and directly experience the astounding variety in which the omnipresent astrological symbolism continuously manifests itself. With some basic astrological knowledge and practice, we can develop a sense of how alive astrology is. This process enhances curiosity and a fresh, childlike, and beginner's mind' approach to learning how these symbols keep coming to life, in the world around and within us. Learning about astrology experimentally is an exciting process I have been fascinated with for many years.

We can also engage in creatively expressing these universal symbols (especially signs and planets), through artistic media (like collages) or drama, and thus become an artist or actor of astrology - while avoiding the temptation of  over identifying with them, and becoming 'archetype possessed'.

Astrology Promotes Healing

Healing is derived from ‘becoming whole' (again). Wholeness is healthy.

It is a basic principle of healing to honor and support the parts of the body and psyche in their integration into the whole of a human being, so that they can fulfill their purpose to sustain well-being.

Astrology offers ways to understand ourselves or others better, by carefully looking at the wholeness of a human being as a wonderful, unique composition of the different sides and functions of a personality that is always more than the sum of its parts. Humanistic, psychological astrology has therefore a holistic, synthesizing, and synergistic approach. It shows how the parts relate to one another, how they keep unfolding over time, and how this process contributes to our life creation.

By honoring the path and meaning of one's life, the insights gained through astrology can be an important starting point for the healing process of oneself or of a relationship with a significant other.

In relationships, astrology can help heal (making whole) the relationship, by recognizing and acknowledging the individual contributions, as well as the ‘character' of the relationship as a  co-created 'product' of the partners. –
Astrology is not a religion, it is belief, means a feeling that something exists or is true, especially one without proof it does not relate to the study of astrology, therefore some believe in astrology and some don’t.
Lal kitab; it is the name of five books which expounded unique system of Indian astrology now known as Lal Kitab system of astrology.
People believe in astrology, starting what your name tells about your personality, what colors suits you, what is you lucky number? And so on.
Starting from Tarot card reading to numerology, people believe in it.

Interestingly, using just birth time and place, he seemed to come up with the correct identify of the mystery guest more often than anyone, & I wondered what that was.

Or you may want to order a special exclusive report based on your birth details on a voluntary donation of  say  $2.00  by clicking here.  If you cannot afford, of course, it's free. The report will indicate suitable gems on the basis of:
Sun sign (Western Astrology)
Ascendant or Lagna (Hindu Astrology)
Moon Sign or Rasi
Dasa also called Mahadasa (Period)
Birth Number (Numerology)

And so on.

Not only this, there are birthstones . The idea of a birthstone connected with the month of your birth is based in traditional astrology. Each stone has its own unique character and abilities too. Some stones are healers; others are aids to concentration; some are warriors; some are good for business.

Wearing the stone of your sign will focus the energies of the sign through the gem, enabling their expression in your daily life. The energy of the sign is channeled through the planet placed there (usually the Sun, Moon, or planetary ruler) and this energy is expressed and focused through the corresponding gem.

Then comes the TAROT CARD READING

no-one really knows how Tarot works. It really doesn't matter how they work; tarot readings can help provide you with a clear reflection of your past, present and future projections, and help you to reflect on your experiences, and hence gain a fresh prospective on your life.

Lady GAGA skin is rose

We all know that one of the enemies of modern civilization is “Pollution”. It is Silent killer who is responsible for causing various diseases.
Skin is the most sensitive part of human body.

Due to air pollution in the city, we suffer from so many problems starting from skin to hair.

Air pollution can be one of the main causes of pre-aging of skin.

Following are the ways to get rid of skin problems created by pollution

Apply good sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher daily before going outside to protect skin from UV rays.
Always remove makeup as early as possible after came back at home because pollution and makeup both   prevent   our skin to breathe properly.
Don’t stay long time in pool or sea beach.
Drink plenty of water, green vegetables, salads and fruits to detoxify the body.
Stay out of dirt. Cleanse your face/skin at least twice a day with ROSE WATER.

But best way to keep your skin healthy and fresh, one should always use Rose water.
Rose water, itself a by-product of the production of rose oil for use in perfume, is used to flavour food, as a component in some cosmetic and medical preparations, and for religious purpose
Rose perfumes are made from rose oil, also called attar of roses, which is a mixture of volatile essential oils obtained by steam-distilling the crushed petals of roses.

Rose water is a by-product of this process.
Rose Water Uses:
• Great for all skin types.

• Oily skin is balanced and toned

• Sensitive skin is soothed and cooled

• Normal skin is purified and cleansed

• Mature skin is toned and rejuvenated.

• Purifying, harmonizing, toning and cooling.

• Apply as an aftershave to soothe irritated skin.

• Helps heal sunburns and wounds.

How To Use Rose Water:

Rose Water can be used as a face lotion for all skin types to tone, balance and moisturize. Use on mature skin to rejuvenate and refresh. Use as an aftershave to soothe irritated skin. Lightly mist face as needed to invigorate the senses and mind.

Spray a little rose water on your face before cleansing to loosen dirt and foundation makeup while giving your face lasting softness without leaving it feeling greasy. You'll spend less time scrubbing and the rose's natural properties work well for sensitive, acne prone and aging skin alike.
Now days we have so many Rose water available in the market. Some of them like SKIN TOUCH Rose water, Dabur  gulabri, Ayur rose water and so on. My personal favorite is Skin Touch Rose water.

Rose water is used as eye drops to clear them. Some people in India also use rose water as spray applied directly to the face for natural fragrance and moisturiser, especially during winters. It is also used in Indian sweets and other food preparations. Rose water is often sprinkled in Indian weddings to welcome guests.

We have started to see LED light in cars and its going to be quiet interesting to see a store with the same concept The Big store will be offering almost all kind of categories starting from groceries to shoes to electronics. Everything under one roof and they claim that nothing would be on MRP. They are giving the perception of saving money for everyone.

Diwali

The Hindu festival of lights is an occasion that brings out the best in each and every inhabitant of India - shopping for gifts, eating rich sweets, visiting family and friends, lighting up your home, playing cards and gambling, buying new clothes, and ushering in a new year.

Lighting little oil lamps, or “diyas”, symbolizes this, and everywhere in India, on Diwali night, “diyas” are lit, casting a magical feel to neighbourhoods.  Houses are decked with scores of little lanterns, and, increasingly in a city like Delhi, with rows of fairy lights.

Houses are a blaze of lights.  Diyas and fairy lights and lanterns and tinsel – homes literally are an extravagance of colour and sensory overload.

Days before Diwali, people begin shopping with a vengeance.  Traditionally, you offer sweets and dry fruit to family, friends and colleagues at Diwali, and then you criss-cross the city to deliver them, leading to mega festival-induced traffic jams.  But as this season is also one for huge festive discounts, people traditionally shop for major household purchases, too, so between the boxes of sweets, and the new fridge, and the new clothes for all those Diwali parties, this is a great time of the year for business.  Shops -  all decorated with lights and tinsel – stay open even later than usual, and shopping centres are jam-packed.

Reflecting tradition wrapped in modernity, playing cards is extremely popular on Diwali day. It is said that on playing cards, the goddess of wealth smile upon the player and ensures her goodwill. The memories of Diwali night can be joyful to the winners and the losers can't wait for the next Diwali to come around.

This day, with its emphasis on money, is also considered lucky for gambling by playing cards. Giving social sanction to a vice, a popular saying states that one who does not gamble on this day will reborn as a donkey in his next birth. Casinos and local gambling houses do brisk business during the Diwali week

In most homes, people invite their friends and relatives over to play cards. Friends get together to indulge in games of cards. Playing cards has long been an inexpensive form of entertainment for family gatherings. So playing cards in the days leading up to Diwali has become a social adjunct to this religious tradition.  Card parties are as much a part of present  Diwali as lighting up your home.

Ever festival in Delhi has its own spark and charm. Diwali start from lighting up home to decorating it with flowers to playing cards. For some playing cards is just for fun and for one night but for some it’s a night for gambling, or a moment to earn money with not much affords.

The night skies on Diwali are a riot of fireworks, which get more and more extravagant each year. For days – weeks even – before Diwali, youngsters roam the streets, setting off patakas or firecrackers, the night soundscape interrupted by volleys of explosions.

The only down side to all this noisy happiness, is that pets, and all the stray dogs that live in India’s streets are absolutely terrorized.

1. Most of the shops you buy these from, do not adhere to the Excise Dept guidelines.
2. Crackers release a lot of Ultra-violet and Infrared radiation, which are harmful to the eyes and the body parts.
3. Diwali (Deepavali) is a festival of lights, not sound. Crackers can cause deafness.
4. Maximum number of Burn cases are reported in the Diwali season due to the improper use of crackers.
5. Humans might be able to protect themselves, but the crackers have a deep physical and mental impact upon animals.
6. Most crackers do not adhere to the Govt guidelines on Noise pollution and the sound of these crackers is above the permitted levels. In short, many are Illegal.
7. Levels of Air pollution, which are already high in India, reach astronomical levels on Diwali and can be very harmful to the human body.
8. Crackers and Fireworks are the single largest cause of respiratory diseases like Bronchial Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and other Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases.

So, hopefully, you would have a fun-filled, beautiful and cracker free Diwali.

HAPPY DIWALI GUYS.. ENJOY URSELF AND PARTY HARD.

OVERCOMING ADDICTION

Addiction can also be viewed as a continued involvement with a substance or activity despite the negative consequences associated with it. Pleasure and enjoyment would have originally been sought; however, over a period of time involvement with the substance or activity is needed to feel normal.

People turn there habit into addiction and at later phase they got stuck in a disaster where there is no way out.

It is the perception towards the object of addiction for an addict that he is not addicted. One has to change his/her perceptions towards life and things to change the addictions.

Perception of the object needs to be change.

There are so many addiction of a human nature starting from fast food to alcohol or to sex….
Many people who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction may eventually wind up with an addiction of a life time damages the god gifted body and spirit.
Like Wine is statistically associated with a decrease in death due to cardiovascular events such as heart failure.
But over dose of anything is harmful..

ALCOHOL:
Consumption leads to stimulation of the nervous system where the body feels calm but since the few minutes are desire to the end up for few minutes, ended up getting addiction.

Sex..
Sex addicts engage in distorted thinking of ten rationalizing & justifying their behavior and blaming others for problems.

Sexual addiction also associated with risk taking. A person with a sex addiction engages in various forms of sexual activity, despite the potential for negative and/ or dangerous consequences. In addiction to damaging the addict’s relationships and interfering with his or her work and social life, a sexual addiction also puts the person at risk for emotional & physical inquiry.

Behaviors associated with sexual addiction:-
1. Compulsive masturbation
2. Multiple affairs
3. Multiple or anonymous sexual partners and/or one night stand
4. Consistent use of pornography
5. Unsafe sex
6. Exhibitionism
7. Phone or cyber sex
8. Obsessive dating through personal ads
9. Sexual harassment

A person with a sex addiction gains little satisfaction from the sexual activity & no emotional bond with his or her sex partners.
Problem of sex addiction often leads to feeling of guilt and shame.

Smoking:

You may love your life or you may hate it, but unless you are suicidal you wouldn't want to risk it. I hope you agree. So I guess we have already agreed upon something within such a short acquaintance, that's a good start.

Smoking is defined as the act of smelling or inhaling the smoke of a substance, mostly tobacco. There are many reasons for doing so, the most common being cultural reasons or peer pressure. Cigarettes, pipes and hookahs are the most popular methods of smoking and hence also the most injurious smoking elements for health.
The human body knows that smoking is injurious to health; therefore, it tries to counter it at the start. That is why coughing, sore throat, nausea and other negative feelings are aroused in the body when a person tries to smoke the first time. People start with one drag and end up into addiction.

Many people who struggle with smoke addiction may eventually wind up with an addiction of a life time damages the god gifted body and spirit, hard to get out of it.

For many people struggling with addiction, the biggest and toughest step toward recovery is the very first one: deciding to make a change. It’s normal to feel conflicted about giving up your drug of choice, even when you realize it’s causing problems in your life. Change is never easy—and committing to sobriety involves changing many things, including:

the way you deal with stress
who you allow in your life
what you do in your free time
how you think about yourself

You may wonder if you’re really ready for all that change or if you have what it takes to quit. It’s okay if you’re torn. Recovering from addiction is a long process, one that requires time, commitment, motivation, and support. As you contemplate your situation, the following tips can help you make the decision.

Gambling takes many forms from playing the lottery to betting on horses to high-stakes casino betting. Many people enjoy some form of gambling as a fun, but infrequent hobby or pastime. However, some suffer from a gambling addiction that can wreak havoc on their personal and financial lives.

When a person suffers from a gambling addiction, there are fewer outward signs than other addictions. A gambling addict may feel depressed and suffer mood swings, but unless their financial situation is an open book to others, their problem may be severe before anyone notices. For this reason, gambling addiction is often referred to as a "hidden" addiction.

Unlike an average person gambling for fun, a person suffering from a gambling addiction does not know when to quit. They gamble more than they can afford to lose. They might gamble their rent or mortgage payment, their grocery money, or even their entire life savings.

A moderate addiction to money may not always be hurtful; but when taken in excess it is nearly always bad for the health.

Karva Chauth: fast from sunrise to moonrise

Karva chauth is an annual one-day festival celebrated by Hindu and some Sikh women in North India and parts of Pakistan in which married women fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands.

Today Live in relationship and easy separation, found a regular space & acceptance from Indian Society, may be due to High acceptance of western cultural.

Does the Karva Chauth importance is still the same in Indian society or people are just following it for the sake of it? Does the concept like Karva chauth is only followed in villages?

In today society where the relationship is not bound with any promises & commitment, the Separation, live in relationship rate have increased.

The patience level in a relationship is no longer there.

People find it’s easy to move in & out from a relationship which has bought the commitment level down. Due to fast moving life, the long term relationship phase is not there.

In between all this, KARVA CHAUTH is still has the same charm and magic. Women still follow the same tradition of fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands.

It’s true the live-in relationship does exist in Indian society but it didn’t affect the true tradition of Karva Chauth, it still has the same spark and charisma.

The festival of Karwa Chauth is celebrated mostly by North India. This event is growing bigger with each passing day. In addition to the traditional items such as henna, beauty products and fashionable clothes, the demand of special eateries are also gearing up. Nowadays, Karwa Chauth is more of fun than a serious festival.

ISLAND AS CHEAP AS HOUSE IN INDIA.

Greece is almost the synonymous with the word island.

With around 6000 islands in total, mostly privately owned, Greece is a land of private island paradise. Greece was a developed country with high standard of living and “very high” in Human Development Index.

Greece is facing economic hardships and has been defaulting on its loan for many years.

Greece main industry are tourism, shipping, industrial products, food & tobacco processing, textiles, chemical, metal products, mining & petroleum.

Greece also faced unemployment levels, an efficient bureaucracy, tax evasion & corruption.

After almost 15 years of stable economy growth, they again fell into the pond of recession due to high ratio of loans.

Now the conditions are so pathetic that the Greece government decided to sell all the islands and the luxury properties to erase some of its debt.

Earlier buying an island was the most difficult thing OR a most expensive dream. But now anyone can buy an island as low as 2 million dollars. For Indian who has dream of buying an Island then it is the right time to do so. Now buying an Island as cheap as a house in India, Life has changed so much.

However selling or buying an island is virtually impossible in this country, due to an elaborate maze of bureaucracy, which must be navigated at all governmental levels, plus military and religious regulations, decrees, laws, proclamations and a virtually non-existent land registry.

GOD BLESSES GREECE.
